Charged particle multiplicity in e+ e-interactions at s**(1/2) = 130-GeV

    Description

    CERN-LEP. Measurement of the charged particle multiplicity in e+ e- interactions at centre-of-mass energy 130 GeV. Data are taken with the DELPHI detector. Comparing with lower energy data the result is consistent with the evolution predicted by QCD with NCO corrections for a value of alpha_s(130) of 0.105 +- 0.003 +- 0.008.
