    Description

    DESY-HERA. Differential (2+1) jet event rates and determination of the strong coupling constant in deep inelastic scattering. The +1 refers to the proton remnant jet. The JADE alogrithm (plus variants E, E0 and P) is used to define the jets, and the variable Y2 is defined as the smallest scaled jet mass (M2Jet**2/W**2) given by the combination of (2+1) jets. The 2-jet mass is the minimal one from possible 2-jet combinations when exactly 2+1 jet remains after applying of the jet-finding algorithm (see article).
