Sharing qualitative methods and examples of their application.

We are a team of established qualitative researchers who are enthusiastic about promoting the application of qualitative methodologies to improve understanding of how they can be best applied to meet research aims. This collection showcases the wealth of skills, knowledge and practice in qualitative research within the Manchester Institute of Education, with a specific focus on open and transparent research practices. Each of the summaries provides a recording of a presentation that demonstrates how methods are adopted and applied in real world research. This collection of summaries helps to provide a template for sharing of such content and encourage examples to be provided by other qualitative UoM researchers; thereby stimulating interest in the application of open science for qualitative research (including supporting methodological pluralism).
