Description

This is the data that underpins the related manuscript (10.1364/BOE.522867) exploring how members of the skin microbiome manipulate blue light output (450nm) from a clinically viable micro-LED illumination platform. The files above denote data underpinning spectral characterisation (wavelength and irradiance output) from the illumination platform (PDMS irradiance summary, Figure 3), variability in spectral output across the substrate (2D_irradiance_map, Figure 4), how microbes derived from skin impact spectral output from the light source (BACTERIA_SUMMARY_PMDS_0.5_ABS, Figure 5 -7) and finally, how exposure of the skin commensal Micrococcus luteus to blue light impacts microbial pigmentation (M LUTEUS_EXPOSURE, Figure 8).
