    Details

    Description

This is a high output, water-cooled, 2400 amp Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) automated column and boom welding system. It features tandem, narrow groove, single, and twin wire feed options.

The system includes a Miller strip cladding head, which can deposit single weld beads with widths ranging from 25mm to 70mm. It is compatible with both Electroslag Strip Welding (ESW) and SAW processes, making it suitable for high-deposition cladding applications.

Additionally, the magnetic steering device (MSD) is designed specifically for the ESW process. It ensures uniformity in the cladding process by achieving consistent, level weld bead edges. The MSD also controls the weld bead formation, maintaining both bond integrity and appearance.
