Narrative
The CRADLE Prosperity Partnership brings together the industrial experience that the project industry partner, Amentum, has in applied robotics and autonomous Systems with the research expertise at The University of Manchester in this field, to create a collaborative research centre that is internationally leading and sustainable in the long term.CRADLE aims to develop novel, transformational technologies to address
complex challenges in demanding, dirty, and dangerous environments
across a range of heavily regulated industries. A key focus is on identifying common challenges across sectors, enabling the transfer of knowledge and technology to enhance efficiency and innovation. CRADLE’s work spans multiple sectors, including space, nuclear lifecycle, urban infrastructure, transportation, utilities, offshore, ports and maritime, disaster response, regulation, energy generation, healthcare, construction and cyber security.
