The European Cancer Organisation (ECCO) is a not for profit federation that exists to uphold the rights of European cancer patients. Their guidance documents are written by experts to give oncology teams, patients, policymakers and managers an overview of essential care for patients. I acted as chair of the committee and co-authored ECCO's Essential Requirements for Quality Cancer Care: Prostate cancer guidelines, published in 2020, defining the structure of health care for optimal management of prostate cancer across Europe.
