Narrative

Dr Brown has been studying the psychological nature, mechanisms and treatment of functional neurological disorders and dissociation for nearly 20 years, publishing numerous theoretical, empirical and clinical papers in this domain during that period. In 2014, he used this knowledge to set up a new clinical service, the Functional Neurological and Dissociative Disorders (FuNDD) clinic within Manchester Mental Health and Social Care NHS Trust, designed to deliver state of the art psychological assessment and treatment of patients with functional neurological and/or dissociative disorders.
