The MUSICIAN randomised controlled trial showed that exercise or cognitive behavioural therapy resulted in patient reported improvements in chronic, widespread pain. Improvements were reported at 6 and 9 month follow-ups, but also in the long-term, where it is unusual for interventions to have an enduring benefit.Impact date | 2012 → 2020 |
