Narrative
Professor Husain remains instrumental in supporting the research capacity and capability in Pakistan by his on-going input and contribution to the teaching and training of our research teams across Pakistan. He has continued to provide regular training sessions to researchers in group sessions and on a one to one basis as well.He has delivered training on a variety of topics from how to write a paper to writing grant applications for international funding bodies. He regularly lectures on different research topics from critical reviews, research methodology, qualitative and quantitative research. He has played a pivotal role in helping develop training and teaching modules on mental health specialties for health professionals, where he has not only contributed to developing the content of the course modules and presentations but has delivered these training sessions both face to face and on Zoom and Skype.
He provides regular supervision sessions to a number of researchers at Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning, including post docs on a regular basis. He contributes to and supervises the development of research protocols, manuscripts and grant applications.
