Overview

Abbie is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Marketing at The University of Manchester. She holds a BA in Linguistics and Phonetics and an MA in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Leeds, and a PhD in Marketing at the University of Leeds. She is also the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Performance Prize, Leeds University Business School for her PhD work.

Her primary research areas are in consumer behaviour and international marketing. Abbie has published work in top tier academic journals such as Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, and European Journal of Marketing, and is a regular reviewer for academic journals (including the Journal of Business Research and International Marketing Review). Her research has been presented at leading academic conferences such as AMA and AIB. She is also the recipient of the “Best Paper in Track Award” from the American Marketing Association Winter 2021.
