Personal profile

Overview

My research interests focus on mental health, sleep, and clinical psychological interventions, particularly for severe mental illness. I have extensive experience conducting mental health and social care research in criminal justice settings and have contributed to building research capacity through the NIHR-supported Mental Health Social Care Research Incubator. I also support undergraduate teaching across several BSc Psychology modules at the University of Manchester.

Currently, I am undertaking a PhD within the Manchester Biomedical Research Centre and the Greater Manchester Patient Safety Research Collaboration, exploring the links between sleep disturbance, dissociation, and suicide-related outcomes in people with non-affective psychosis. I also work as a researcher in the Division of Psychology and Mental Health.
