Personal profile

Overview

Under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Bouzarovski, Dr Gareth Clay and Dr Morag Rose (University of Liverpool) I am currently working towards my PhD titled 'Fire Safety and Energy Poverty: Tackling A Hidden Injustice'. This project is fully funded by NWSSDTP (ERSC).

Utilising vulnerability concepts, I am researching the relationship between experiences of energy poverty and heightened risk of fire within the home. As this is a CASE studentship, I am working closely with the Prevention team at Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and Antwerp Fire and Rescue Service.
