I spent a working life mostly as a (struggling) creative writer, and teacher of writing. In 'retirement' I've developed an enthusiasm for philosophy.
Research interests
The working title of my thesis is 'You talkin' to me?' I want to write the outline of a philosophical account of talk, informed by a lifetime of writing fictional talk - and of talking, and listening to talk.
