Personal profile

Research interests

I am a Postgraduate Researcher currently pursuing a doctoral degree with a focus on integrating environmental concerns into urban digital planning. My research explores the use of open-source software and co-design methodologies to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and policy development. By leveraging advanced simulation techniques, I aim to develop participatory tools that enable stakeholders—including scientists, policymakers, and local authorities—to collaboratively design urban environments that are sustainable and resilient to the impacts of climate change.

Through the development of open-source platforms, my work seeks to empower both scientists and urban planners by providing accessible, data-driven models for urban decision support. These platforms facilitate the integration of local knowledge with scientific data, fostering inclusive and adaptive urban policies. By addressing critical environmental challenges such as urban carbon footprints and energy consumption, my research contributes to creating smarter, more sustainable cities.
