Personal profile

Overview

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Manchester working under the supervision of Professor Sonya Krutikova and Dr Aruni Mitra.

My research is anchored at the crossroads of Development, Labour and Economics of Education. I investigate how human-capital investments and labour-market institutions drive social mobility in developing countries.

Using longitudinal surveys and linked administrative data, my work translates empirical evidence into context-specific policy advice, assessing interventions that range from early-childhood programmes to higher-education reforms.
