Overview
Alex is a Biomedical Engineer currently undertaking his Ph.D. at the University of Manchester. His research project, "Defining and Measuring Mid-Flexion Instability Following Total Knee Replacement", aims to aid in the development of knee prosthetic designs.
After graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with an M.Sc in Sport and Clinical Biomechanics, Alex was a footwear biomechanist at Xtep Sports Co. in Xiamen, China.
Alex's research interests are in lower-limb biomechanics and prosthetic design.
