Overview

Alina is a Lecturer in Innovation with the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIOIR), Alliance Manchester Business School. Alina's research focuses on social and inclusive innovation, specifically focusing on innovative actors beyond the business enterprise sector and the roles of contextual factors that influence social/inclusive innovation processes in cities.  

Alina is teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in responsible management innovation, introductory economics and geography of innovation.  

Alina holds a PhD degree in science, technology and innovation policy from Alliance Manchester Business School (Manchester, UK), MSc (summa cum laude) in Governance of Science, Technology and Innovations and BSc in Applied Mathematics from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia).
