Overview

Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) & ECR currently working within the Healthy Ageing Theme of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration, Greater Manchester. Passionate about co-designing, evaluating and scaling accessible, equitable and sustainable interventions that empower people with and without chronic conditions to manage their health and wellbeing. I have a particular interest in chronic pain management and addressing related health inequities among underserved and diverse communities.

Most recently involved in the evaluation (RCT) and scale-up of Keep On Keep Up (KOKU); a digital health and wellbeing intervention co-developed with and for older adults.

I have worked on National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR)-funded research projects relating to healthy ageing, contributed to World Health Organization (WHO) guidance and delivered training to frontline professionals to help them embed supportive, person-centred behaviour change approaches into their everyday care.

With experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, as well as conducting systematic reviews, I have built strong collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups including patients, health and social care professionals, NHS and social care providers, charitable organisations, community support groups, academics and industry partners.

I thrive in interdisciplinary environments where research, policy, and practice intersect and I am passionate about reducing health inequities, improving digital inclusion and enhancing access to care for underserved populations.
