Andra Toader is a Lecturer in Organisational Psychology, part of the Organisational Psychology Group and the People, Management, and Organisations Division. I have been with AMBS since 2019, previously having worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Konstanz.  I have obtained my PhD in Psychology within the International Max Planck Research School programme at Friedrich Schiller University, and have an MSc in Organisational Psychology and Human Resources from the University of Bucharest.

At AMBS, I am the programme director for the MSc in Organisational/Business Psychology. I teach a range of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, on topics in the area of organisational psychology, human resources, business ethics, and methodology. I have also co-organised the Organisational Psychology research seminar series, with prominent guest talks from academia and industry.

My research is in the area of organisational and managerial cognition, especially team and collective cognition, collective problem solving, intelligence, and creativity, and leadership and team cognition. I have explored these topics in a range of research projects with diverse methodologies, such as longitudinal research designs, text analytic approaches, experimental approaches, implicit priming, and systematic reviews. My work is published in key journals in management and organisational behaviour such as Small Group Research, Creativity Research Journal, the European Journal of Work and Organisational Psychology, and The Leadership Quarterly. I regularly present my work at key events and conference such as the Academy of Management and the European Work and Organisational Psychology conferences. I have acted as a reviewer for publications such as The Academy of Management Review, Organisational Psychology Review, Creativity Research Journal, and The European Journal for Work and Organisational Psychology.
