Andrew Halls

I completed my MSci degree in Biology at the University of Manchester. My final year masters project looking at Factors affecting prevalence and the molecular characterisation of Giardia spp. in wild and domestic ungulates across two properties in Laikipia County, Kenya under the supervision of Professor Susanne Shultz.

In September 2022 I started my EPSRC funded PhD at the University of Manchester in Professor Susanne Shultz's lab. My project consists of looking at the spatio-temporal dynamics of water and faecal borne pathogens in livestock and wildlife populations in Laikipia, Kenya using a mixture of field, molecular, immunological and modelling techniques.
