Personal profile

Overview

My research focuses on technique development for cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, including both data aquisition and analysis. I am particularly interested in imaging the heart in the immediate period after a heart attack with T2, T2* and QSM imaging. Much is still unknown about the development of heart failure in this period and why outcomes vary so widely, yet existing imaging methods have limitiations in terms of image quality and robustness. New imaging methods will therefore be critical to enable the highest quality research into the treatments of tomorrow, and to ensure that patients are recieving the best possible treatment today.
