Overview

Andrew holds a doctorate in Planning Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His main research interests are innovation and development, research translation, science and technology policy, and the governance of emerging technology. At UoM, Andrew worked as a Research Associate in Responsible Research and Innovation in Synthetic Biology. He has held previous research and teaching positions at the University of Edinburgh, the University of Sussex (SPRU), and the Open University. His most recent research position was at the University of Cambridge, exploring the roadmapping of Grand Challenge initiatives.
