Overview

Dr Angel Martin-Caballero is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the Work & Equalities Institute, Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester. His research interests span Employment and Industrial Relations, the Sociology and Political Economy of Work, and Human Resource Management.

His doctoral thesis examined the challenges of regulating platform work in Spain and Chile, highlighting the interplay between institutions, organisations and state actors. He is currently the Principal Investigator of the project “The Digital Workplace: Rethinking Compliance, Regulatory Enforcement and Institutional Change”.
