Overview
Aniekan is a pharmacist with a dynamic career spanning clinical, retail, and supply chain pharmacy practice. He is a Lecturer in Healthcare Leadership and Management at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) and a member of the Health Management Group.
He has worked in the Medical School at Edge Hill University and with the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), supporting the transformation of pharmacy practice in low- and middle-income countries for the effective management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
With cross-continental expertise, Aniekan has managed global health education projects across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, working with local partners to design, implement, and monitor initiatives that are culturally sensitive and deliver meaningful, impactful outcomes.
He has contributed to projects focused on leadership in health and social care within the National Health Service (NHS), pharmacy workforce development, and public health, advancing evidence-based approaches to healthcare improvement. His current interests include AI-supported leadership development and healthcare leadership practice.
