Biography
I am a postgraduate researcher at the Manchester Institute of Education, working with the Passport to Success research team on a parallel-cluster randomised control trial to examine the impact of a universal social and emotional learning intervention on internalising symptoms and other outcomes among children aged 9-11 years. This project will run from 2022-2025.
In 2018, I was awarded my BSc in Applied Psychology (with first class honours) from IADT, Dublin, and in 2021, my MSc in Clinical Health Psychology (with distinction) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
From 2021-2022 I worked as a Research Assistant at Trinity College Dublin on the DEPTH project (Digitally Enhanced Practical Teaching in the Health Sciences) and with the Trinity College Exercise Oncology Research Group.
I have a keen interest in trial design, development, and implementation. My PhD thesis will explore the relationship between implementation variability and social connectedness related outcomes in universal, school-based social emotional learning interventions.
I am part of the Education and Psychology research group at Manchester Institute of Education.
