I completed my BA in Sociology and Politics and my MSc in Sociological Research at The University of Manchester, and am currently an ESRC-funded PhD student in The University of Manchester's Department of Sociology. My PhD research tackles dynamics of trans community, care and identification on contemporary Mancunian clubbing scenes. I am specifically interested in exploring theoretical developments in queer/gender studies through empirical research on the realities of LGBT+ lives, communities and collective practices.
I am a member of the Morgan Centre for Research into Everyday Lives, and a Neurodiversity Representative for UoM Sociology.
My thesis is being supervised by Dr. Petra Nordqvist, Prof. Nick Crossley and Dr. James Hodgson.
