Biography

Arthur received his undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Kiev-Mohyla Academy (Kiev, Ukraine) and his PhD degree in Economics from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (United States). After completing his PhD in 2007 he worked as a Research Statistician in SAS Insitute (Cary) for two years, and as a Quantitative Analyst in Stark Investments (Milwaukee) for one year. He started as a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Manchester in July 2009. His research interest are in econometrics and financial econometrics. He currently teaches MSc courses in Financial Econometrics and Appliend Macroeconomics and an undergraduate course in Financial Econometrics.

Research interests

His research interest is in econometrics and financial econometrics. In particular he is currently working on how to use high frequency information in various applications.
