Accepting PhD Students
Dr. Rajagopalan is a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering specializing in chemical process engineering, particularly on gas adsorption and crystallization. He is the lead investigator of the Purification and Separation Technology (PAST) laboratory. The PAST laboratory aims to develop sustainable technologies for challenging purification and separation problems. To achieve this the research activities span all the way from understanding fundamentals to developing processes. Particulate Technology, Gas Separation, and Porous Materials are the three focus areas of the laboratory. The research activities undertaken in his laboratory exploits state-of-the-art experimental, modeling, and data analytics techniques for designing and controlling chemical processes.
At the moment there are no openings for postdoctoral researchers. However, if your interests align with ours, you are highly encouraged to make informal enquiries by contacting Ashwin. We can always try to explore the different funding options for your research.
At the moment we have no openings PhD students. However, if you are a masters student or already hold a masters degree and if you are interested in our research, feel free to make informal enquiries by contacting Ashwin. We can always try to explore the different funding options for undertaking a PhD.
