Overview

I am Senior Lecturer in International Business in the Comparative and International Business (CIB) group at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS). I joined AMBS in 2016 after completing a PhD in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School (Oslo, Norway) and an MA in Economics from the University of Oslo (Oslo, Norway). I previously worked in the Norwegian government sector in Statistics Norway.

I was the Director of the MSc International Business and Management programme at AMBS from 2018 to 2022, and have taught a wide range of different modules including in research methods, international business strategy, international business finance and responsible business.

My main research interests include corporate governance and finance in international business, internationalisation of state owned enterprises, and corporate social responsibility and sustainability. I am a founding member  of the Academy of International Business Sustainability Shared Interest Group (Sustainability-SIG) and am currently serving on the Editorial Review Boards of Global Strategy Journal and Journal of International Business Policy.
