Accepting PhD Students
Azar is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Alliance Manchester Business School, where she also completed her PhD in Business and Management. She holds both an MSc and a BSc in Computer Software Engineering.
Her research focuses on business analytics. It has a multi-disciplinary approach based on behavioural information systems and business operations, in particular, the interaction of people with digital technologies and how digital technologies impact the attitudes and behaviours of individuals, organisations and society.
She has collaborated with various organizations and SMEs in the Northwest, leveraging her technical expertise to develop and apply machine learning techniques. Her work has addressed real-world challenges in business operations, project management, and customer experience management.
Azar has developed and delivered interdisciplinary curricula in the areas of IS, digital business, and sustainability. She has taught BSc, MSc, MBA, and Executive Education.
