Biography

My name is Bahrul Ilmi Nasution. I have background in computational statistics and public policy which enables me in applying statistical analysis and machine learning to solve real-world problems, particularly related to the evidence-based policy. Most of my research discussed the implementations and developments of statistical analyses and machine learning for various cases in Indonesia, including Jakarta. Now I am interested in synthetic data publishing techniques using deep generative models, which is my PhD project. I am supervised by Prof. Mark Elliot and Prof. Richard Allmendinger.
