Overview

Cathy Morgan is an epidemiologist currently involved in analysis of Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) datasets addressing healthcare research questions. Cathy has an interest in mental health research and at present specifically addressing self-harm among children, adolescents and the older population.

Cathy has a wealth of experience in a quantitative research and analysis over the years of her career. In the past she has worked on numerous studies involving rheumatoid arthritis patients including the EPIC-2-NOAR study (European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition and the Norfolk Arthritis Study). For her PhD she led a study investigating the link of patient psychological factors and medication adherence with data from the British Society for Rheumatology Biologic Registers (BSRBR).
