Personal profile

Overview

Wellcome Early-Career Fellow in Chemical Biology / FBMH / Division of Pharmacy & Optometry

My research uses selection methods including mRNA display and DNA-encoded libraries and innovative chemical biology tools to identify novel ligands for challenging protein targets. These ligands can be used as starting points for drug discovery, or as chemical probes to better understand biological pathways.

My research focusses on adapting these selection methods to native cellular environments, enabling access to membrane protein targets and large protein complexes. This will accelerate the discovery of high-quality chemical probes and give access to new protein targets.
