Celina is a PhD student in Biostatistics funded by the Centre for Epidemiology Versus Arthritis, in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.
Her research focuses on clinical prediction models for treatment outcomes in rheumatoid arthritis. In particular, Celina's PhD aims to handle multinomial outcomes, update prognosis using longitudinal data, and explore causal methods that enable predictions under interventions. She is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant on the MSc Health Data Science at the University of Manchester and provides statistical support to APEP medical students.
