Overview

Chao Wu is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Swarm & Computational Intelligence Laboratory (SwaCIL) at the University of Manchester, UK. He is currently involved in the European Union H2020-FETOPEN projects (ROBOts in cooperation with a bioCOENOSIS and ROBOtic Replicants for Optimizing the Yield by Augmenting Living Ecosystems). He is working on ultra-low-power consumption circuit design and power system of bio-hybrid robot. His research interests consist of power management system of mobile robots, electrochemical impedance measurement for microbic fuel cell and lithium-ion battery, battery degradation and recycling, and physiological monitoring system.
