Postgraduate Opportunities

To date, I have supervised 2 PhD students:

  • Sara Santos, 2005
  • Ian Morris, 2006 (currently at the University of Warwick)

I have one current PhD student, Andrew Moss.

I am always keen to hear from potential PhD students who are interested in working in ergodic theory.

I act as programme director for the MSc in Pure Mathematics.  If you are interested in this programme then I would encourage you to contact me for further information.

I am a lecturer in pure mathematics in the School of Mathematics, working in ergodic theory and dynamical systems.  I came to Manchester in 1997, initially as a post-doc.  Before that, I was a student at the University of Warwick where I obtained my PhD in 1997 under the supervision of Bill Parry.
