Overview

I joined Manchester University in 2017 to begin a two year NIHR Research Methods fellowship. As part of the fellowship, I completed an MSc in Economics (Economics of Health). I am now a Research Associate in the research group Health Organisation, Policy and Economics (HOPE) within the Centre for Primary Care and Health Services Research.

My current role is part of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration for Greater Manchester (ARC-GM).

 

Research interests

I am interested in applying econometric methods to administrative and survey data to answer questions about health and health care. Topics of interest include:

  • Public expenditure on health care and related services
  • Mental health
  • Wider determinants of health (particularly employment and housing)
  • Homelessness
