Overview
Chidinma is a second-year PhD Microbiology student studying the consumer and environmental microbiome effects of domestic probiotic cleaning products. She will be creating and analyzing laboratory models of the kitchen environment. It will include sampling and quantitatively analyzing environmental microbiome samples, utilizing cutting-edge methods that account for cell viability. Understanding of how probiotics alter the network of microbial interactions will be created, and this knowledge will be used to apply the microbiome safety framework to home care products.
