Research interests

  • Point of care tests in the diagnosis of Aspergillosis

  • Interferon gamma immunotherapy in chronic pulmonary aspergillosis

Patients with chronic aspergillosis are treated with long term antifungals, and a substantial proportion of patients fail therapy through resistance development. The azoles are the only available oral class of drugs and novel treatments are needed. Immunotherapy with interferon gamma may offer a promising alternative.

  • Patient reported outcome measures as a tool to assess response to treatment in chronic pulmonary aspergillosis
  • Pathogenesis of chronic pulmonary aspergillosis
