Overview

Dr Chunhu Shi is a Research Fellow at the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, working for the NIHR ARC GM Evaluation theme. 

He obtained his PhD degree from the University of Manchester in 2019. His work and primary research interests lie in the fields of applied health research and evidence synthesis. He is skilled in the use of advanced meta-analysis methods (e.g., network meta-analysis and individual participant data analysis), and has expertise of undertaking prognosis systematic reviews and network meta-analysis and designing prognosis research.

He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Also, he is an Associate Editor serving the International Journal of Nursing Studies, an Associate Member of the HTA Programme Funding Committee, and a member of Panel Groups for the development of the fourth edition of Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers/Injuries: Clinical Practice Guideline
