Overview

I am a PhD researcher in Development Policy and Management at the University of Manchester working alongside youth in urban social movemens. I am part of the African Cities Research Consortium (ACRC) through Slum Dwellers International (SDI), in the Informal Settlements Domain across seven African cities. I am also an affiliate researcher at MIT. My research interests include informal settlements, international cooperation, marginalised communities, and inter-generational movement building. I have worked as programme director, advisor and consultant in the national and international public and non-profit sectors, particularly with women-led community-based organizations in Latin America and Africa. I hold a Master in City Planning from MIT, as well as an MSc in International Cooperation and Public Policy and a BA in Political Science.
