Biography

I completed my BSc (Hons) Psychology and MSc Health Psychology at The University of Manchester. I then went on to work for Public Health England in the National Congenital Anomaly and Rare Disease Registration Service (NCARDRS) before joining the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester (ARC-GM) here at the university in December 2019.

I worked as a research assistant within the ARC-GM Healthy Ageing Theme on a number of different projects (listed below) across topics including menopause, frailty, falls prevention, digital inclusion and informal carers:

Overview

I am a PhD student within the Healthy Ageing Research Group. My research focuses on developing an intervention to increase physical activity in older adults from lower socioeconomic status groups, to address the effects of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown deconditioning.
