Overview
I am a geography postgraduate student at the university of Manchester. I am currently researching food relocalisation intiatives in England employing a cultural political economic approach. My research critically engages in analysing diversity and alterity in emerging economic forms contextualising them in broader process of social change.
Prior to my doctoral studies I have researched and profesionally worked on rural territorial development, social innovations and urban and rural linkages. I hold a joint Master Degree in Global Studies from the University of Leipzig and Vienna part of the Erasmus Mundus Global Studies Consortium. During my Master’s she I researched agro-ecological practices as a resistance to globalisation in Oaxaca, Mexico and my thesis was awarded by the Consortium.
