Overview

I am Zhisen (Devin) Hu, a PhD student in Biomedical Imaging Sciences at University of Manchester, UK. I am supervised by Dr Claudia Lindner, Prof Tim Cootes, and Prof Aleksei Tiulpin (University of Oulu, Finland) and fully funded by European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) Unit Manchester. Previously, I was a master student in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London, UK and obtained my bachelor degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. My research is focused on artificial intelligence (AI) in orthopaedics, which mainly includes automated analysis of the joint structures from knee radiographs and the predictions of surgical outcomes.
