Personal profile

Overview

I am a Research Fellow in the Division of Population Health, Health services research and primary care, The University of Manchester and affiliated to the Productivity Institute.

I am currently doing research on the effect of health on productivity, with a focus on mental health.

I am also leading the project "Patients with mental health conditions in a pressured primary care context: access, experience and inequalities" which has been awarded a SPCR grant (£50,000) and is the topic of my current Career Development Award from the Three School Mental health programme. See more here.

My overall research interests cover understanding the formation of human capital and the social inequalities related to it. Within this scope, I am interested in the links between health and work/education and inequalities in healthcare.

I obtained a PhD in Economics in 2020 from University Paris-Dauphine , PSL (France) and previously held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the Department of Economics, NTNU (Norway).
