Research interests

Elaine is a research fellow based at the Centre for Imaging Sciences in the Institute of Population Health. She currently works on the Predicting Risk Of Cancer At Screening (PROCAS) study, a large study of approximately 60,000 women who have attended the routine national breast screening programme in the Greater Manchester and consented to take part in the study. The study aims to look at a number of risk factors (including lifestyle, family history and breast density) and the risk of developing breast cancer.
