Overview

Eliana is a PhD candidate in Health Economics funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) through the North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership. Her research focuses on the impact evaluation of health policies in low- and middle-income countries. 

Before starting her PhD in 2021, Eliana was a fellow at UNAIDS Brazil, worked for Grameen Foundation in the Monitoring and Evaluation team, and as a research assistant and consultant for academic institutions and non profit organisations. Besides work in the health economics sector, she has also been involved in the evaluation of development economics, public health, and gender programmes.
