Overview
Through her MSc in Global Development with the Open University Elizabeth has become increasing interested in where environmental sustainability issues and socio-economic issues intersect, such as energy poverty and climate change.
For her Masters Dissertation Elizabeth applied a mixed method approach including a literature review, secondary-datasets and private-policy analysis, stakeholder mapping and an auto-ethnographical case-study to investigate retrofit water management solutions.
Elizabeth’s PhD Research Project will investigate governing housing energy-based retrofit and the role of social intermediaries in order to mitigate against climate change and energy poverty.
