Overview

I am a researcher focussed on the socio-political and environmental dimensions of water, sanitation and health. I am based at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research where I am working on the Enabling Water Smart Communities project with partners from across the public and private sectors.   

During my PhD I worked on three interdisciplinary projects:

  • UKRI-funded GCRF “RECIRCULATE” project - “Water for Sanitation and Health” (ES/P010857/1), University of Lancaster
  • UKRI-funded GCRF “ACTUATE: Accelerating the Adoption of Circular Economy Sanitation Demonstration Systems for Improved Health Outcomes” project, (EP/T015608/1), University of Lancaster
  • CEDIL-funded "Gender and social outcomes of WASH interventions," led by Stockholm Environment Institute
